What is
FINISH Mondial Foundation ?
FINISH Mondial Foundation (FMF) is established as a legal entity by WASTE in 2023 to scale and
grow the impact of the FINISH Mondial programme. Finish Mondial promotes a world in which people
are financially included, have access to safely managed WASH and other locally relevant products
and services including solid waste and grey water management. These services are designed to be
climate adapted , and through the sanitation circular economy contribute to climate mitigation.
Thus, directly and indirectly, FMF contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). (the
programme has its own website finishmondial.org)
In 2025 FINISH Mondial Foundation directly supported FINISH Mondial implementation in Ethiopia
and India. It also supported setting up the FINISH Mondial legal entities in Bangladesh, Uganda
and Ethiopia. It also supported innovations in water management, financial inclusions,
sanitation and the sanitation circular agenda.
